For someone to appear so flamboyant and flippant, yet from reading her autobiography you get the impression of Colleen Caffiene as a gentle, laid back, easy-going chick! The author is extremely open, painfully so. I had to take a break from reading the book, as some of the subject matter, along with Ms. Caffiene's raw honesty, isn't easy to digest. WAIT ONE MINUTE, PLEASE! This book also had me laughing out loud, MULTIPLE TIMES! Colleen Caffiene's sense of the world is all her own, and she can be quite hilarious! Very honest and open look into her many adventures of discovering music and entering it to conquer it plus bravely telling of many other hardships. I would give it 5 stars but at some places it cuts off and I don't really know where it goes but still a very powerfulbook.
Very interesting read. I loved how honest she was about everything. Beautiful person but she's struggled a lot.

Brave, raw, sassy funny and irreverent. Colleen shares deeply personal pains and struggles, some tough things to read. I'm amazed at her ability to be as casual as she is at times and I applaud her toughness and drive. Bonus, there are some great pics of familiar faces for the long time Punk Rockers out there.
